Solving the “Greatness Equation”

The Greatness Equation equals Passions x Talents + Skills = Greatness.  

When were young we have multiple avenues for success and the notion the world is ours for the taking. "You can be anything you want or dream" I remember thinking so much about this and it inspired me.

In high school, I stopped playing basketball to focus on school as I realized athletics would not be my ticket to life, liberty and the pursuit towards greatness. This was the first time I began to understand the greatness equation.

Fast forwarding to college. I had numerous scholarships but I had to maintain good academic standing. I was thinking, "Maintain is good academic standing?  No, I will deliver a great academic standing". This was the defining moment where the greatness equation fueled me to never settle for nothing but the best.

There are many equations you learn, however I believe this one is the most important to achieving greatness because it provides perspective and direction on what is important in life. Steve Jobs said, "You only do your greatest work when you're passionate about it". Remembering these variables, and continuing to balance them is vital to achieving greatness.
